Studies from University Hospital, Department of Respiratory Medicine Yield New Information about Mesotheliomas

2011 JAN 21 -- Researchers detail in 'European guidelines for the management of malignant pleural mesothelioma,' new data in Mesotheliomas. According to a study from Belgium, "Malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) is nearly invariably lethal tumor of the pleura. Significant therapeutic nihilism exists among health professionals."

"Recent progress has reshaped the clinical landscape in the treatment of MPM.
