New Gynecology Study Findings Have Been Published by Scientists at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine

2011 JUN 24 -- Researchers detail in "Vaginal stromal sclerosis: a distinctive stromal change associated with vaginal atrophy," new data in Gynecology. According to recent research published in the International Journal of Gynecological Pathology, "The author describes 3 cases of an unusual vaginal lesion, designated as 'vaginal stromal sclerosis,' that is believed to represent a clinically and pathologically distinct disease. The 3 patients, aged 62, 52, and 50 years, all presented with dyspareunia and had clinical evidence of vaginal atrophy."
