Findings from K.C. Chiang and Co-Authors Provide New Insights into Drug Development

2011 AUG 5 -- Data detailed in "The search for immunosuppressive therapies to induce tolerance in organ transplantation" have been presented. According to the authors of a study from Kisarazu, Japan, "Organ transplantation has become a major therapeutic option for patients with irreversible organ diseases. Immunosuppressive agents are usually required to prevent allograft rejection in patients who undergo an organ transplantation."
