2011 NOV 25 -- Current study results from the report, "PEGylated TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) for effective tumor combination therapy," have been published. "Although PEGylated TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (PEG-TRAIL) has good tumor cell specificity and stability, its therapeutic potential is restricted by the development of tumor cell resistance. The purpose of this study was to develop an effective combination therapy with sustained biological activity based on microspheres," scientists in Suwon, South Korea report.
