Researchers from University of Utah School of Medicine Publish New Studies and Findings in the Area of Neurology

2012 MAR 16 -- New investigation results, "New therapeutic approaches to spinal muscular atrophy," are detailed in a study published in Current Neurology and Neuroscience Reports. According to the authors of recent research from Salt Lake City, Utah, "Bench to bedside progress has been widely anticipated for a growing number of neurodegenerative disorders. Of these, spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is perhaps the best poised to capitalize on advances in targeted therapeutics development over the next few years."
