"There is growing experimental evidence for the implication of glutamate-mediated mechanisms both in the pathophysiology of Parkinson disease and in the development of dyskinesias with long-term administration of L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (L-DOPA)," scientists in France explained.
