Cancer research and care center opens in Nevada

Nevada Cancer Institute (NVCI) officially dedicated its flagship research and care center in Las Vegas, Nevada, providing residents of Nevada with a new edge in research, prevention, detection and care of cancer. The four-story, 142,000 square foot facility built at a cost of $52 million and located in the Summerlin district of Las Vegas will help NVCI's 19 senior faculty bring state-of-the-art, personalized research and care to residents of Nevada and the southwest United States on an outpatient basis.
