Alzheimer disease analyzed, presenilin immunoreactivity detected

A study from Australia has documented presenilin (PS) immunoreactivity in Alzheimer disease (AD). "The role of PS mutations in familial AD may be as a toxic gain of function, but in sporadic disease their contribution is more difficult to understand," wrote P.K.
