Hepatitis drug development data to be presented at liver disease meeting

Idenix Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (IDIX) announced that five abstracts have been accepted for presentation at the 56th annual meeting of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), to be held in San Francisco, California, from November 11-15, 2005. Ching-Lung Lai, professor of Medicine and Hepatology, Department of Medicine, University of Hong Kong will present, "Telbivudine (LdT) vs. Lamivudine for Chronic Hepatitis B: First-Year Results from the International phase III GLOBE Trial" in the late-breaker session on Monday, November 14 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST).
