Recent findings illuminate research in diabetic nephropathy

Investigators in the United States, Turkey and United Kingdom have published new diabetic nephropathy data.

Study 1: Adolescents with type 2 diabetes show microalbuminuria and abnormalities in ambulatory blood pressure.

Scientists in the United States conducted a study "to determine whether risk factors for cardiovascular disease and diabetic nephropathy, as evidenced by abnormalities of ambulatory blood pressure (ABP), dyslipidemia, and microalbuminuria (MA), are present in adolescents with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).
