Research in obesity surgery provides new insights

Study 1: Researchers review laparoscopic adjustable gastric band surgery in recent issue of Surgical Clinics of North America.
According to a study from the United States, "Since Belachew first performed the procedure in 1993, laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding (LAGB) has gained in popularity around the world as a first-choice surgical therapy for severely obese patients.
