Investigators at University of Salamanca, Medical Department release new data on heart disease

According to recent research from Salamanca, Spain, "Adipocytokines, fat tissue derived factors with regulatory properties, are involved in the pathophysiology of atheromatous and metabolic illnesses such as: ischemic heart disease, insulin resistance, obesity, dyslipidemia and diabetes mellitus."
