HealthFitness Announces 2008 Second Quarter Results

Health Fitness Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: HFIT) , a leading provider of integrated employee health and productivity management solutions, announced financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2008. For the second quarter, revenue increased 10.8 percent to $18.8 million, from $17.0 million for the same period in 2007. Gross profit during the quarter rose to $5.5 million, from $4.8 million during the prior-year period. Operating income totaled $0.64 million for the quarter compared to $0.38 million for the same period in 2007.
