New hangover remedy sparks controversy

A new dietary supplement that claims to eliminate hangover symptoms such as headaches, nausea and dry mouth is being greeted with apprehension among consumer health advocates, who are worried it could lead to increased consumption and binge drinking, blinding drinkers to potential problems with alcohol abuse. The new pill, Rebound, works by regulating acetaldehyde, the most toxic byproduct of alcohol metabolism.
