Nanoparticle-formulation of drugs can be administered by several routes

Nanoparticles allow a single formulation to be used to develop multiple dosage forms, researchers report. According to published research from the United States, "Formulation development during early drug discovery and lead optimization, involves several challenges including limited drug supply, the need for rapid turnaround, and limited development time."
