Trinion Meniscus Screw for knee cartilage repair receives U.S. FDA clearance

Lifeline Biotechnologies Inc. (LBTT) announced that the Trinion Meniscus Screw for use in knee cartilage repair has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance. The clearance allows Inion's Trinion screws to be marketed and sold in the U.S., complementing the company's Hexalon biodegradable cruciate ligament repair screw. These products are marketed to the sports medicine and orthopedic markets. Trinion screws are used for the fixation of longitudinal vertical meniscus lesions, where the knee cartilage has torn.
