Gemtuzumab ozogamicin with cytarabine effective in elderly AML patients

A regimen of gemtuzumab ozogamicin (GO) and cytarabine can be effective for elderly acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients. GO, "an anti-CD33 monoclonal antibody conjugated to calicheamicin, is effective as single agent in the treatment of poor risk" AML patients, oncologists in New York explained. P.P.
