Cancer incidence in patients with systemic sclerosis (SSc) was higher when compared to the general population. Researchers in the United States conducted a study "to describe the incidence of cancer in a large cohort of patients with SSc and compare it to the Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) cancer registries.
