Mercury-induced oxidative stress and phosphoinositide 3-kinase activation cause Akt signaling-related pancreatic beta-cell dysfunction. "The relationship between oxidation stress and phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) signaling in pancreatic beta-cell dysfunction remains unclear.
