Anterior rectal wall mucosal prolapse is treated with a new ligation procedure

A therapeutic approach using multiple longitudinal rubber band ligations on the anterior rectal wall is an effective alternative to relieve mucosal prolapse.

According to recent research published in the journal Diseases of the Colon & Rectum, "The aim of this study is to present a new approach for the treatment of mucosal prolapse of the anterior rectal wall using a multiple longitudinal rubber band ligation procedure.
