Gastrointestinal cancer postoperative outcome improved by preoperative enteral immunonutrition

Nutritional status and immunity in gastrointestinal (GI) cancer patients could be improved by preoperative enteral immunonutrition (IM), while lowering the incidence of postoperative complications and infections.
