Fatigue Epidemiology
Researchers from University of Florence, Department of Clinical Pathophysiology provide details of new studies and findings in the area of fatigue epidemiology

A report, "Muscle fatigue in women with primary biliary cirrhosis: Spectral analysis of surface electromyography," is newly published data in World Journal of Gastroenterology. In this recently published article, scientists in Firenze, Italy conducted a study "To evaluate the myoelectric manifestations of peripheral fatigability in patients with primary biliary cirrhosis in comparison to healthy subjects. Sixteen women with primary biliary cirrhosis without comorbidity and 13 healthy women matched for age and body mass index (BMI) completed the self-reported questionnaire fatigue impact scale."
