Research conducted at Fudan University, Department of General Surgery has updated our knowledge about lipoproteins

Scientists discuss in 'XbaI polymorphisms of apolipoprotein B gene: another risk factor of gallstone formation after radical gastrectomy' new findings in lipoproteins. In this recently published study, investigators in Shanghai, People's Republic of China conducted a study "To prospectively investigate the association between the XbaI polymorphisms of apolipoprotein B (APOB) gene and gallstone formation following gastrectomy. The study was conducted between January 2005 and December 2006."
