New investigation results, 'Combined single-port and endoluminal technique for laparoscopic anterior resection,' are detailed in a study published in Surgical Laparoscopy, Endoscopy & Percutaneous Techniques. According to a study from Hong Kong, "To determine the technical feasibility and clinical outcomes of laparoscopic anterior resection using combined single-port and endoluminal technique. A single port was placed at the umbilicus."
