Data from University of Texas Provide New Insights into Bowel Disorders

2011 FEB 14 -- A report, 'Travel and travelers' diarrhea in patients with irritable bowel syndrome,' is newly published data in The American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. "This study evaluated occurrence of travel and travelers' diarrhea in patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). A survey was mailed to 591 patients of a clinical practice who had IBS," scientists in the United States report.
