New Colitis Study Findings Have Been Published by Scientists at University of Michigan Medical Center

2011 JUL 18 -- Scientists discuss in "Prior Helicobacter pylori infection ameliorates Salmonella typhimurium-induced colitis: mucosal crosstalk between stomach and distal intestine" new findings in Colitis. According to the authors of a study from Ann Arbor, Michigan, "Helicobacter pylori infection is associated with a lower risk of chronic autoimmune diseases including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)."
