Tumor Immunity Transferred from Donor to Recipient

Tumor antigen-specific immunity was successfully transferred from bone-marrow-transplant (BMT) donor to cancer patient recipient.

Previous research has shown that antigen-specific immunity to viral antigens can be transferred from healthy immune marrow donors to decrease host susceptibility to infection after BMT. However, the same process had not been previously attempted with tumor specific antigens.
