According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 25th Annual Meeting of the Society for Neuroscience, held November 11-16, 1995, in San Diego, California, "The aim of the present study was to improve delivery of therapeutic herpes simplex virus type 1 thymidine kinase (HSV-TK) gene into disseminated brain tumor masses by intraarterial and intraventricular injection of vectors.
