"Partial Protection Against Plasmodium yoelii by a DNA Vaccine Encoding the C-Terminus of MSP-1."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 7th Malaria Meeting of the British Society for Parasitology, held September 19-21, 1995, in London, United Kingdom, "Three DNA vaccines encoding the PYC2 fragment (aa165s-1757) of P. yoeliiMSP1 were prepared in the nkCMVintpolyli vector: 1) MSP-1 alone [(T-)MSP-1], 2) MSP-1 with a mammalian signal peptide [S(T-)MSP-1], and 3) MSP-1 with a signal peptide and promiscuous T helper epitopes from tetanus toxin [S(T+)MSP-1].
