HIV/AIDS CD4 Therapeutic Technology Licensed

Sequus Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Menlo Park, California, and Sheffield Medical Technologies Inc., New York, New York, jointly announced that Sequus has licensed Sheffield's liposome-CD4 technology as a potential HIV/AIDS therapeutic.

"After an in-depth review of technical and scientific aspects of the liposome-CD4 technology ... we concluded that Sheffield's liposome-CD4 technology combined with Sequus's proprietary Stealth liposome technology presents a potentially promising new approach for treating HIV/AIDS," said I.
