"Recombinant Von Willebrand's Factor Produced at Industrial Scale Fermentation of Recombinant CHO Cells Co-Expressing Furin."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 22nd International Congress of the World Federation of Hemophilia, held June 23-28, 1996, in Dublin, Ireland, "Thorough analysis of multimer composition and molecular structure of recombinant von Willebrand's factor (r-vWF) produced by recombinant CHO cells demonstrated r-vWF to be more intact and less proteolytically degraded than plasma-derived vWF (pd-vWF) (Fischer, B., Mitterer, A., Schlokat, U., DenBouwmeester, R. and Dorner, F.
