Antisense Therapy Under Development as Anticancer Therapeutic

University of Alabama researchers have been exploring the pharmacokinetics of second generation antisense oligonucleotides as anticancer therapeutics.

Ruiwen Zhang, an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Alabama, presented research results of work in this area to the American Association for Cancer Research conference, held April 12-16, 1997, in San Diego, California.
