"Purification and Immunological Characterization of 12 Recombinant Culture Filtrate Proteins of Mycobacterium tuberculosis."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 97th General Meeting of the American Society for Microbiology, held May 4-8, 1997, in Miami Beach, Florida, "Proteins that are actively secreted by M. tuberculosis are potent inducers of immune responses during TB. To characterize the immunobiological properties of individual proteins found in the M. tuberculosis culture filtrate (CF), we have expressed and purified CF proteins from E. coli cells.
