"Immunization of Mice with the Synthetic Nonasaccharide KH-1 Results in Antibodies Against Adenocarcinoma Cells."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 89th Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research, held March 28 - April 1, 1998, in New Orleans, Louisiana, "KH-1 antigen (Fuc(alpha)a12Gal(beta)14(Fuc(alpha)13)GlcNAc(beta)13gal(beta)14(Fuc(alpha)13) GlcNAc(beta)13Gal(beta)14Glc(beta)11Cer) is an adenocarcinoma associated carbohydrate antigen, defined by murine monoclonal antibodies AH6 and KM-1, containing a terminal Ley and an internal Lex epitope.
