Allovectin-7 Cancer Gene Therapy Completes Phase II Studies

A phase II study showed that Allovectin-7 cancer gene therapy for metastatic malignant melanoma was safe and induced clinically significant tumor regression.

Researchers from several clinical centers participated in phase I/II studies of intratumoral injection of Allovectin-7 which is an HLA-B7/(beta)2M plasmid DNA/lipid complex. Evan M.
