Endobronchial Transfection Attenuates Acute Lung Rejection

Researchers from the United States investigated endobronchial transfection of CAT and TGF-beta 1 cDNA, which was selectively delivered to a lung graft with or without liposomes.

F. Dovidio et al. published the results of their study in Annals of Thoracic Surgery ("Endobronchial Transfection of Naked TGF-beta 1 cDNA Attenuates Acute Lung Rejection," Annals of Thoracic Surgery, September 1999;68(3):1008-1013).
