F-PE Enhances In Vivo Liposomal Gene Transfer To Mouse Lungs

Researchers have found viral vectors deliver therapeutic genes with greater efficiency than do synthetic vectors. In order to improve the efficiency of synthetic liposomal gene delivery vectors, cationic polymers have been added to lipoplex preparations. Dioleoyl-L-alpha-phosphatidyl-ethanolamine, or DOPE, is a helper lipid broadly used in lipoplex preparation. In previous studies, B.
