Morphotek, Inc., has named William Heilman, PhD, as vice president of business development.

Dr. Heilman has held a variety of positions in major pharmaceutical and agrochem companies, including American Home Products (AHP). While at AHP, Dr. Heilman was responsible for evaluating and licensing new technology and the management of early stage pharmaceutical and agrochem product development. Prior to his tenure at AHP, Dr. Heilman held the position of director of licensing at American Cyanamid, where he was responsible for worldwide technology acquisitions and strategic endeavors for early stage pharmaceutical and agrochem products.
