Gene transfer to cancers residing in muscles may present problem

by Sonia Nichols, senior medical writer - Scientists who are currently devising strategies for treating recurrent cancer cells with gene therapy may run into problems when the cells are located in muscle tissues.

Researchers may need to take a different approach to the delivery of these therapies, according to a study undertaken by a team in London, U.K.
