M-CSF, IL-2 coexpression can augment the effect of HSVtk suicide gene therapy

Cerus Corp., Concord, California, reported study results indicating the coexpression of granulocyte/macrophage-colony-stimulating factor and interleukin-2 can enhance the effect of herpes simplex virus thymidine kinase gene suicide gene therapy.
