According to recent research published in the journal Cancer Gene Therapy, "cytochrome P450-based gene therapy can substantially increase the sensitivity of tumor cells to P450-activated cancer chemotherapeutic prodrugs such as cyclophosphamide (CPA) without increasing host toxicity."
