U.S. patent granted covering technologies directed to microbial enrichment

Diversa Corporation (DVSA) announced that it has been issued U.S. Patent No. 6,610,528, directed to methods for selectively collecting microorganisms from aqueous, terrestrial, and other environments.

This patent serves to broaden Diversa's intellectual property position covering its technologies for discovering novel molecules from the over 99% of microbial diversity that has not been previously accessed for product development.
