PET imaging displays transgene distribution in the lungs

According to researchers in the United States, "this study was designed to evaluate the utility of positron emission tomography ( PET) to quantify the magnitude and spatial distribution of transgene expression after different methods of adenoviral vector delivery (with surfactant- and saline-based vehicles) within rat lungs."
