Dr. K.C. Nicolaou named as cochairman, scientific advisory board

CeMines, Inc., announced that K.C. Nicolaou, PhD, an authority on the total synthesis of naturally occurring molecules and inventor of important biologically active molecules, has been appointed cochairman of the company's scientific advisory board, effective immediately.

Nicolaou, chairman of the department of chemistry and Darlene Shiley professor at The Scripps Research Institute, was elected in 1996 to membership in the prestigious National Academy of Sciences in recognition of his outstanding scientific achievements.
