Continuous delivery of GDNF optimizes neural transplantation therapy

Y.H. Ahn and associates reported, "We investigated whether a continuous supply of GDNF via encapsulated genetically modified cells can promote survival and fiber outgrowth from xenotransplanted human dopaminergic neurons."
