In a recent article published in the journal Clinical Cancer Research, scientists in Spain detailed a study conducted "to evaluate the efficacy of reduced intensity conditioning (RIC) allogeneic transplant in 30 patients with poor-prognosis CLL and/or high-risk molecular/cytogenetic characteristics. Eighty-three percent of patients had active disease at the moment of transplant."
