"The basic helix-loop-helix protein, achaete-scute complex-like 1/achaete-scute homologue 1 (ASHI), is expressed in normal fetal pulmonary neuroendocrine cells and lung cancers with neuroendocrine elements and is suggested to be involved in lung carcinogenesis."
