Research add new data to insulin resistance body of knowledge

New findings from the United States and Scotland describe advances in insulin resistance.

Study 1: According to research from the United States, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) promotes human adipocyte insulin resistance through NF kappa B-dependent cytokine production.

"We previously demonstrated that trans-10, cis-12 conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) reduced the triglyceride content of human adipocytes by activating mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase/extracellular signal-related kinase (MEK/ERK) signaling via interleukins (IL) 6 and 8. However, the upstream mechanism is unknown."
