Bronchoalveolar cell carcinoma is reduced by gene-modified dendritic cells

According to a study from the United States, intrapulmonary administration of CCL21 gene-modified dendritic cells (DCs) reduces tumor burden in spontaneous murine bronchoalveolar cell carcinoma.

"The antitumor efficiency of DCs transduced with an adenovirus vector expressing secondary lymphoid chemokine (CCL21) was evaluated in a murine model of spontaneous bronchoalveolar cell carcinoma," wrote S.C. Yang and colleagues, University of California, Los Angeles.
