CombiMatrix Molecular Diagnostics receives accreditation from CAP

Acacia Research Corporation (CBMX)(ACTG) announced its CombiMatrix group's wholly-owned subsidiary, CombiMatrix Molecular Diagnostics (CMDX), has been awarded an accreditation by the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), based on the results of a recent inspection of their laboratory in Irvine, California.

CMDX's laboratory director was advised of this national recognition and congratulated for the "excellence of the services being provided." This news comes on the heels of CMDX's recent announcement that it had received laboratory certification through the federal government's CLIA program.
